A Year Defined by Growth

Alchemy is now part of NTT DATA

2025 marked a major milestone for Alchemy's growth, as we joined NTT DATA, a global leader in technology and consulting. This move brings together Alchemy's insurance expertise with NTT DATA's global scale, evolving our ability to support clients and expanding opportunities for our people.

The acquisition establishes Alchemy as a Global Centre of Excellence, supporting large-scale transformation programmes and training delivery teams across international markets. Our expertise across Guidewire, the London Market, and commercial insurance now plays an integral role in NTT DATA's accelerated growth strategy.
A New Home at Ebrington Plaza

We officially opened our new headquarters at Ebrington Plaza in Derry/Londonderry, becoming the first tenant of this landmark development. The move reflects our long-term commitment to the North West of Ireland and our wider socio-economic impact.

The opening was attended by the First Minister and Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland. Michelle O'Neill MLA recognised Alchemy for "driving regional balance," while Emma Little-Pengelly MLA described Ebrington as "a game changer for the North West."

Deepening Partnerships & Market Presence

Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting Advantage Tier

We achieved Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting Advantage Tier, strengthening our strategic partnership with Guidewire and recognising the quality, consistency, and scale of our delivery.

Guidewire's Lisa Walsh, Group Vice President of Global Consulting Alliances, noted: "Alchemy's proven track record of successful implementations and their growing team of experts make them a valued partner in delivering exceptional results for our shared customers."
Guidewire BillingCenter Specialization

We also achieved BillingCenter Specialisation (EMEA) - our fifth active Guidewire PartnerConnect Specialization - demonstrating the depth of our capability across the platform.

This expertise is backed by 500+ Guidewire certifications across our teams, supporting smoother implementations, platform modernisation, and stronger outcomes for clients.
Our Biggest Presence at Guidewire Connections

We returned to Guidewire Connections 2025 in Las Vegas with our biggest presence yet - our first as part of NTT DATA. As a Gold Sponsor, we showcased our expanded capabilities, met clients and partners, and strengthened our position in the global Guidewire community.

A highlight of the week was receiving the Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting / SI Excellence Award for Outstanding Market Growth in EMEA, recognising delivery results, trust, and momentum.
Expanding the Partner Network

We expanded our partner network with Buckhill and V7, while continuing to build momentum with Amarillo, Insureflow, WCL, Global RADAR, Cenata, and others.

Each partnership was formed to solve real market challenges - supporting end-to-end transformation across core systems, digital platforms, delegated authority, AI-enabled workflows, and data services. Together, they strengthen our position as a delivery partner of choice in the London Market and beyond.

Client Impact: Delivering Excellence Across the Industry

Across 2025, we worked with insurers in the UK, Europe, North America, and the London Market to modernise platforms and build foundations for growth. Our work reflected four themes that show where we create the strongest impact.

Modernising Core Systems Across Global Markets
We supported complex transformations, including multi-market Guidewire rollouts, large-scale migrations, and next-generation London Market platforms - helping insurers reduce legacy complexity and move closer to cloud readiness.

Building Digital & Data-First Ecosystems
We delivered connected, digital operating models across policy, claims, exposure, and delegated authority. AI played an increasing role in automation and document handling, improving speed, insight, and control.

Strengthening Mission-Critical Applications
Through Application Management Services (AMS), we stabilised live environments, improved governance and delivery practices, and helped clients maintain resilient, high-performing systems.

Strategic Advisory
Through our Consulting work, we supported long-term decision-making across core platform selection, cloud strategy, operating model design, and market-wide initiatives - acting as a trusted partner through change.

Investing in Our People and Community

Creating meaningful, sustainable careers and positive regional impact has always been central to Alchemy. In 2025, this commitment deepened as we scaled.

That commitment was recognised when Alchemy was named Large Business of the Year at the 2025 North West Business Awards, reflecting not just business growth, but the impact behind it.
Building Sustainable Careers Through Our Talent Engine

Our Graduate Programme remained the foundation of our talent engine. In 2025, we welcomed our largest graduate intake to date, with graduates joining structured pathways that combine live client work, training, mentoring, and certification.

Alongside this, we continued to hire experienced industry professionals, strengthening delivery capability and supporting the development of others.
A Mentoring-Led, Inclusive Culture

Mentoring sits at the heart of Alchemy's culture. In 2025, it remained central to progression, leadership development, and career support.

We launched our NeuroInclusion Network, supported by neurodiversity training with Orchardville, and relaunched Women@Alchemy with renewed focus and visibility.

This work was recognised with:
  • Women in Insurance Award - Insurance Insider Honours
  • Most Impactful ERG Member - ISC Group Awards (Siobhan McCafferty winner)
  • Market Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Champion of the Year - LMF Market People Awards 2025 (Jo Flint Highly Commended)

Our Community & Allies group continued to drive shared learning and advocacy, including our largest-ever presence at Belfast Pride.
Education, Community and Social Impact

We continued to invest into early careers through Alchemy's STEM Early Careers Programme.

Our partnership with St Mary's College in Derry/Londonderry expanded through career talks, office visits and the Buddy Up Programme, encouraging students - particularly young women - into technology careers.

We were headline sponsor of TechTides, Derry/Londonderry's inaugural technology conference. With 750+ attendees and international speakers, TechTides marked a defining moment for the region - putting Derry firmly on the map as an emerging tech hub.

Our commitment to responsible growth also saw Alchemy becoming a founding partner of Translink's Better on Board Charter, supporting more sustainable travel choices across Northern Ireland.

Alongside this, we supported arts, culture, and community life through partnerships with organisations including Millennium Forum, City of Derry International Choir Festival, Le Foyer des Artistes, and regional festivals and events. As well as employee-led charity and fundraising initiatives supported causes such as Air Ambulance NI, Mary Peters Trust, and other local organisations.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we move into 2026, Alchemy is focused on accelerating growth while staying grounded in what has made us successful to date: delivery excellence, deep insurance expertise, and a people-first culture.

As part of NTT DATA, we are extending our impact globally across Guidewire and Global Specialty Markets, taking our delivery excellence and talent model into new regions through global delivery hubs.

This means more opportunity for our people, more scale for our clients, and more intelligent, connected, data-first solutions - delivered with the same commitment to technology-driven excellence in insurance.

2026 builds on strong foundations - with momentum, clarity, and ambition.
