With customer experience central to their digitisation journey, the insurer needed an integrated Guidewire InsuranceSuite solution, along with Guidewire’s digital front-end applications. These platforms would ensure their internal and external teams have the flexibility and extensibility to greatly enhance their user experience and service across Customer Service, Sales, Underwriting, Pricing, Analytics, Reinsurance, Claims, and Online Sales teams.
Solution
Alchemy began with two consultants specialising in PolicyCenter and has since expanded to a team of over seventeen Guidewire-certified technical analysts, developers, and lead developers working across ten project teams. Initially, Alchemy’s technical experts focused on optimising workflows and core processes to enhance customer engagement. They played pivotal roles in configuring solutions within PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ContactManager, ServiceRepEngage, and Guidewire for Salesforce.
As the project advanced, Alchemy’s team expanded to support both the agriculture and private insurance divisions. Our Guidewire-certified technical analysts and developers leveraged their skills to design and implement CustomerEngage and further extended ServiceRepEngage and PolicyCenter functionalities, providing end-to-end support for the insurer’s agricultural and private portfolios.
Outcomes
Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications were successfully deployed, supporting key lines of business such as windmill, property, and content within the insurer’s Agriculture division.
Established a foundation for a business-wide non-life InsuranceSuite implementation, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ServiceRepEngage through Guidewire for Salesforce. Implementation of cornerstone core integrations and policy lifecycle utilised across all lines of business.
In partnership with the Systems Integrator, Alchemy supported the initial go-live and stabilisation, building a proven track record of success. The partnership continues as both parties work together to deliver subsequent phases.
